Depends on the number of people that want play.
4-8 people: I love "Apples to Apples" by Out of the Box Games. Players take turns being the judge. The players have a hand of maybe a half dozen Noun card: Mr T, Canadians, Hiccups, Airplanes, Dinosaurs, France. The judge draws and announces an Adjective card: Easy. The player play one or two Nouns from their hands that match the Adjective. (Only the first X Nouns played are accepted where X is less than twice the number of player, so speed counts.) The judge then picks the Noun that best matches the Adjective. The judge is encouraged to use their own experiences in determining the best match, and the other players are certainly allowed to try to influence the judge's decision. A lot of the fun comes from WHY a particular Nouns is the best match. For instance, I'll let you guess why Canadians was the best match for Easy.
7-15 players: "Are You a Werewolf" from Looney Labs. Players get cards at random assigning them a particular role: 1 Moderator, 2 Werewolves, and a bunch of Villagers. The moderator directs the round phases and keeps track of secret information as opposed to playing. Each round has two phases. During the "night" phase everyone closes their eyes, the two werewolf players open their eyes and silently indicate to the moderator who they want to kill that night. Then everyone wakes up except of course the dead person. During the "day" phase, all the players (except the moderator) try to dertermine who to lynch for being a werewolf. As soon as a majority picks someone, that person is dead and reveals theur card. Sooner or later either all the werewolves are caught or all the villagers are killed. It all comes down to an informed minority versus an uninformed majority. There are more rules, but that's the gist of it.
At a company holiday party, you don't want any game that takes too long for the rules explanation. This makes the various version of Fluxx, also from Looney Labs a perfect game. The initial rules are "Draw one card, and play one card." All the other rules, including the winning condition(s), are on the cards and come into effect as the cards are played. If this is going to be a Halloween Party, go get a copy Zombie Fluxx right now.
But if your players are willing to put up with a whole page or two of rules, there are quite a few "European style" games that are pretty good. Rio Grande games distribute quite a few. For 2-5 players, I like Carcassonne.
My suggestion would be to browse the web sites of the three companies I've listed and see what sounds good to you. I'd say Out of the Box games are the most geared to parties. Rio Grande games are the heaviest (but many are still reasonable for parties). Looney Labs games are in the middle.
