There will be children ranging in age from 3 years to 12 years in attendance.
Thats a fair point, it is quite a range. It's a family party and we have quite a large family!
I suggest you divide the children into two groups. The older children will need less supervision. Obviously the games should be age appropriate.
Older children: Treasure hunt games involving maps and 'Q&A' elements. In warmer climates, host games outdoors. Games involving physical activity are excellent. Consider 'Frozen T-shirt' games where T-shirts are dipped in water and frozen in advance. The children must find ways to thaw the garment quickly as the first to actually put the shirt on wins the game.
Younger children: It's easier to supervise younger children indoors. Classic games are great. Pass the parcel, lucky dip, treasure hunt games where the children simply look for hidden prizes without the extra challenege of a map, perhaps bake cupcakes in advance and allow the children to decorate their own with sweets.

I think the regular season is just too long, and the quality of play suffers when a team has a tough game the night before, and then has to get on a plane and play the next night in a different city. The fans get cheated, because they don't get to see as competitive a game.
Also, when teams play four games in five nights on road trips…that just ridiculous. I'd rather have quality then quantity. I like how in the playoffs there is adequate time off between games so that fatigue isn't really an issue.
Your thoughts…
Yeah, the players are really tired, and can get injured playing back to back games. Especially approaching the end of the season when the games count, and they really have to give it 100%.

I want to play RTS games and World of Warcraft on my computer but my computer sucks so i was wonderin what video cards i could put on my new computer that could keep up with high quality games.
Please discount the answer above. The 8600GT is not meant for gaming and should only be used for that purpose if you're on a very tight budget.
First of all, before buying a video card, check to make sure all your other PC components are up-to-date. For gaming, you should have a dual-core processor with a speed of at least 2.6GHz, as well as at least 2GB of DDR-2 RAM.
Now, for the video card, check to make sure you have PCI-Express x16 expansion slots. If you do, look into the following cards:
Radeon HD 3850–Best card for those on a budget. Will max out most modern games, and costs around 125$ at newegg.com.
GeForce 9600GT: Maxes out any game on the market (except Crysis) at high resolutions. Costs around 140$.

I have worked for "bosses" in corporate America and education for a while. Without exception, they always took credit for the great work I have done, BUT ALWAYS BLAMED ME WHEN IT DIDN'T WORK OUT! How does a person deal with this and stay sane?
Corporate America is a game; playing it is a job in itself. It is not professional for people to take credit for work they don't do, but that is the way it goes. It is also very easy to point fingers, again not the most professional. You know you are doing the job, and most likely they know you are doing the job. When it comes time for your review that is when you bring up I did ……… and produced …….. results.

Nothing offensive please, I have to work with these people!
Have a GANGSTA grab bag. Everyone bring in a gift. Draw names from a hat to see who picks first. The first person opens their gift and shows everyone, Then the second one opens theirs if they like the first gift better they can take it away (hence the word GANGSTA) SO ON AND SO ON. AT THE END THE FIRST PERSON DRAWN GETS THE LAST GANSTA GRAB.
Very fun…..

I am running an end of Winter Hawaiin themed party in two weeks and am in desperate need of some games that can be played in our conference room for about 30 people – 20 of which are women. Any ideas and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Twenty of who are women.
End of winter? What sort of pagan bunch are you?
Pass the pineapple.
Pineapple and spoon race
Pin the tail on the pineapple
Ring a ring of pineapples
Keep the pineapple in the air
Pineapple statues
Musical pineapples
Three blind pineapples
Hunt Queen Lili'uokalani's pineapple
Try Dustman's Knock. It's like Postman's Knock only dirtier.
