What do you think about about my co-worker?

My work group wen to a go-cart racing place for a team builder and Martin would not participate. The only excuse he gave was that he gets sweaty in the race suits they make you wear.

Unless he has a better excuse than what he gave, was not a wise career decision on his part. It could demonstrate that he is not a "team player" and not as open to new ideas. To succeed in business, you have to do things that are uncomfortable (at least initially) and you have to be willing to a good team member, not just out for yourself.

We work in an industrial setting and there are about 25 of us. Any ideas or things you may have participated in at work would be appreciated.

The sole company is a personal growth and development business and develops personal success resources.

They have a section on team building where you can get suggestions off offers and download resources as well.

What are the rules to this team building activity?

I did this team building activity once during a volunteer project where everyone crouched in a circle with our eyes closed. The moderator went around the circle and recited four rules we had to follow. They were like #1, always follow the rules; #2 if I tap you once, do something; #3 if I tap you twice, do something; and #4, if I tap you 3 times then you can do whatever you want.” The goal is that the person that gets tapped 3 times will set everyone free by going around to tap them 3 times. Has anyone ever heard of this? Does anyone know what the rules are? I’ve tried to search google with no luck. Thanks!
Sounds like duck duck goose… but there is actually a message behind it.

Sounds like ‘Duck Duck Goose’ to me.

Is hockey actually the ultimate sport, as well as being the coolest?

Hockey is fast, has lots of physical contact and controlled agression, requires athletes to be highly skilled and fit and requries in depth teamwork.

The games are exciting to watch and even more exciting to play.

Obviously the sport is superior to baseball (slow and boring), basketball (too much scoring and not enough variation in the flow of the play), football (too much stop time, not enough action per minute of the game), soccer (not enough scoring, not enough contact).

But is it the ultimate sport?
To Biffo: only 'ice' hockey is ever referred to as hockey. Field hockey always has the qualifier in front of it. True afficionadoes never use the word 'ice' in front of hockey, the distinction is self-explanatory. Also, with players skating at 50mph and pucks being shot at 100mph I doubt that hurling is faster.
To Chairman of the bored: whether or not Americans get hockey is meaningless. It remains the best sport in spite of your inability to follow the play and understand what is happening. (BTW: there were more bench clearing brawls in baseball than hockey every year for the past 10 years.) If you learned to understand the game you might not be so bored all the time.

i say yes, not to mention the fans have undying passion for thier team, and undying hate of thier rivals
